New Air Traffic Control Investment Unveiled

Leeds Bradford Airport is at the forefront of aviation technology after installing new Air Traffic Control equipment.

The major three-year project has seen a complete change in the airport’s approach room, where the latest Radar Data Processor has been fitted; as well as new radar and voice recorders. In addition, the airport has invested in a 3D Micronav simulator for Air Traffic Control training.

This package of equipment means that the airport is leading the way with the most up-to-date equipment available in the industry.
