Feedback has now been gathered from our Masterplan consultation, which outlines proposals for growth and development at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Our draft Masterplan shows how we are looking to expand what we offer to our customers, as we expect passenger numbers to grow to 7.1m by 2030.
John Parkin, Chief Executive at Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “First of all, I’d like to thank everyone who gave their feedback as part of the consultation period. We expect to have a final Masterplan ready by the end of the year, which will set out and formalise our vision for the future of Leeds Bradford Airport.
“We are a vibrant airport looking to further enhance our services; as such, this is a pivotal and tremendously exciting time and we’re looking forward to implementing the Masterplan developments.”
The draft Masterplan includes details of a new hotel on site, improved surface access by road and rail, a nearby enterprise park, apron and terminal developments; as well as an increase in the number of jobs available at the airport to support the growth.
