You may have heard about it, or you might have already seen the new signage, but we’d still like to share with you what becoming Leeds Bradford Yorkshire’s Airport means for us and our customers.
The brand change
We want to celebrate the region we are a part of and continue to supply an airport the whole of Yorkshire can be proud of. Last year we consulted our customers and local community and began to plan how we could best improve the airport experience; with changes having already taken place and many still to come.
We want to inspire our community and that’s why we aspire to be the first choice airport for our customers, providing excellent connectivity and positive customer experiences.
At Leeds Bradford we are well placed to serve our thriving region, with competitive airlines offering great routes and prices worth travelling for.
Our terminal changes
We’d be surprised if you don’t notice the many improvements we’ve worked on over the last 12 months. But here are some of our favourites:
- The opening of 3 brand-new purpose built lounges
- Adding the newly-fitted food & drink outlets Cabin and The Beer House
- Refurbishing the ever-popular Saltaire Bar & Eatery
- Commencing work on the new Starbucks coffee shop and additional retail outlets
- Developing our Meet & Greet car parking service
- Opening our new low-cost car park, Viking Airport Parking
- Expanding our Security areas to help reduce waiting times and develop our service
- Adding more comfortable passenger seating to terminal waiting areas
- Updating our signage and decor throughout the airport to reflect our new brand
Luxury lounges at Leeds Bradford Airport
Our new lounges were designed to create an environment perfect for pre-flight relaxation for all our outbound travellers. Each lounge has a unique identity, but all include: a fantastic choice of refreshments, delicious food, comfy furniture, charging stations, newspapers, magazines, flight information screens, free wifi, glorious runway views and friendly service.
The Yorkshire Lounge
A treat for everyone, our Yorkshire Lounge offers the ideal environment to celebrate the start of your holiday. Enjoy some tasty food from the buffet and complimentary selection of drinks.
The White Rose Suite
Great for business or leisure, our White Rose Suite provides the ideal space to relax in pre-flight. Delicious hot food is available throughout the day, with barista coffee and speciality teas served by our friendly lounge hosts. Our open bar is stocked with a range of premium spirits, local craft beer and a variety of wines.
The 1432 Runway Club
Delight in the truly first-class experience of the 1432 Runway Club and indulge in hot food from our served to order menu. All customers can choose from premium spirits, local beers, wonderful wine and Prosecco from our complimentary bar.
A friendly Viking invader for our parking customers
We are excited to bring a new low-cost parking offering this year; Viking Airport Parking. Viking Airport Parking is a convenient park and ride service only a 2 minute transfer to the terminal.
There’s no need to find a space for yourself, we’ll park your car in our safe and secure car park for you. Then you can jump into one of our free, 24/7 transfers over to the terminal quickly and easily. Make sure to check out how great value it is in time for your next trip!
