After the busiest summer ever at LBA, the winter schedule is now in full swing. Over the colder months, Leeds Bradford Airport will offer the widest choice of flights that have ever been available during a winter season.
More than 50 direct destinations will be available, which includes the new winter additions of Vilnius, Warsaw, Bratislava, Berlin, Newquay and Guernsey. Not forgetting that worldwide travel through Heathrow T5, Amsterdam and Dublin will conveniently provide passengers with worldwide connections.
Working with our airline partners, we launched our newest winter routes in style recently. In Newquay, a plant exchange between two tourist hotspots in Yorkshire and Newquay took place and Ryanair’s routes to Vilniuis, Bratislava, Warsaw and Gran Canaria was celebrated by staff airside at LBA. A festive treat was in store when Berlin took flight for the first time with Jet2.com.
Throughout winter, we will also undergo £1m terminal improvement works, with upgrades of the terminal building to improve the customer experience. This will introduce space and light into the front of the terminal and improved toilet facilities – among other aspects – and will be complete in time for next summer.
